The Gruesome End of Baron Spolasco
Baron Spolasco was a 'Quack-Doctor' that lived in Cork City in the 19th Century. He notoriously, created medicine's to cure diseases that were completely ineffective. He was soon found out by the Cork public and fled to Swansea in Wales where he again tried to fool the unsuspecting public.
In conjunction with Cork Community Art Link, I illustrated a storyline for the Baron Spolasco called; 'The Gruesome End of Baron Spolasco,' for the 6th annual Dragon of Shandon Samhain Parade. The parade is a well known Halloween event in Cork City.
