This evening I will be hosting a creative skills sharing session in Cork Community Art Link on Shandon Street in Cork City. My session will be in relation to illustration skills and is part of a week long creative advocacy skills sharing program being run by Cork Community Art Link. The session runs from 7 pm to 9 pm at 107 Shandon Street and is completely free.
I can now confirm that I will be exhibiting a selection of my illustration work in Blackpool Library, Cork City from December 6th until December 23rd. I would like to thank Martin Byrne for helping me with the arrangements of the library space. I look forward to exhibiting in what is fact my local library for the first time. A planned illustration workshop for teenagers has been arranged for Saturday December 17th at 2 o'clock in the library and they can be contacted at the following e-mail address- blackpool_library@corkcity.ie More news soon. Its an illustration from the Ghost of Shandon but one of my few snow scenes! I have decided to make this available as a Christmas card and more details will be released soon. Now a hotel sits on the site of the Green Coats School! This Sunday evening I will be participating in a live radio discussion on Cork FM's Arts Show at seven o'clock. The show is hosted by Aine de Barra and I will be joined by fellow members of the Islander Art collective including JG O'Donoghue and Rob O'Rourke to talk illustration and exhibiting! I will be participating in a group illustration exhibition in The Roundy on Castle street in Cork City with the illustration collective Islander Art from Monday November 14th until Tuesday November 29th. The illustration collective Islander Art is made up of illustrators from England, South Africa and Ireland. It was an amazing experience to be a part of.
