I like Oil Paints

I have been very busy recently with teaching art at my two schools which has been a tad frustrating in terms of time allowed for illustration but I have completed my profile colour of Aisling, the ghost character from 18th Century Cork. I have enjoyed experimenting with oil paints and Ill try and do some more colour studies of Aisling in the near future. Im trying to keep to an autumn palette of colours for Aisling to suit the historic feel of the character. She will also be dressed in the costume of an Irish servant girl of the time.


Id also just like to take this chance to point out that the Cork Drink and Draw society which Im a member of are currently being featured in this months Image FX illustration magazine! Well done guys!
