Jon O'Donoghue of Islander Art has kindly asked me to join the very talented illustrators collective blog that also includes Michael Nolan and Richard Asbjorn Smythe. The collective can be found at the following location-

I look forward to contributing to Islander Art and sharing my own illustration work alongside other talented illustrators.
I am currently participating in a group exhibition of Art Teachers at the Wandesford Quay Gallery in Cork City. The exhibition shows work from the Art Teachers as artists themselves as well as their impact on their pupils art-work. The exhibition is in conjunction with the Education Department of the Crawford School of Art. I am exhibiting original pencil work and page designs for the Ghost of Shandon alongside selected pupil illustrations from Transition Year at Sacred Heart, Carrignavar. The pupils selected are the terrifically talented Roisin O'Sullivan, Jessica Ahern and Ciara Murphy.
The exhibit runs from April 6th until April 16th.
Congratulations must go to two of my Art students that had their illustrations published in the match-day program at yesterday's Cork City FC vs Monaghan United match. Well done to Kate O'Donovan and Dean Canty!
